Brooke Smith in Melinda & Melinda (Trailer)

I found this on YouTube, and I wondered if anyone here had seen this movie. I want to watch it, only because Brooke Smith is in it, and she doesn't fail to impress me with her sardonic sense of humour.

If you can find all of Brooke's scenes, that would be best. The movie is actually quite poor, one of Woody Allen's worst by far.

Brooke's Roles

She's not in it very much, as is the case with many of her of her old films. She's also *very* preggers with Fanny in this film, and they wrote it in. But the film itself was a yawn to me.

I've been scouring cable, looking for films Brooke has been in, and most of the roles are tiny. The only one I found cool (in a chillingly-disturbing kinda way) was from a TV series called The Hunger, an episode titled "Week Woman." It's posted on YouTube and highly recommended. I think it's in four bits, but totally worth it.

Re: Brooke's Roles

I watched The Hunger, the ones where Brooke was in it. I was shocked, in a good way, at the dominatrix scene. WOW. But, that was a very good episode considering all the different roles Brooke played. It really shows how well she can act, and how well she can tackle diverse character roles.

Brooke was also in a 16 minute short film with Ellen Pompeo! It's called Eventual Wives, but I can't find it ANYWHERE.

Thanks for posting this. Brooke is so woefully underused in this movie. She might be the most beautiful pregnant woman I've ever seen though.
